What is a pro audio system?+
A professional audio system is an engineered chain of microphones, mixing and DSP processing, amplification and loudspeakers, designed around a specific room so that speech and music are clear and even at every seat.
How is pro audio different from a home theatre system?+
Home theatre reproduces cinema formats for a small, fixed seating position. Pro audio prioritises intelligibility and even coverage for many listeners in a large, often reverberant space, with reliability and daily operation by non-technical staff.
Do I need a line array for my auditorium?+
Not always. Line arrays suit deep halls that need long, even throw. Many mid-size halls perform better with well-aimed point-source clusters, and worship spaces often do best with column or steerable speakers.
Why does our hall echo even though the sound system is loud?+
That is a room-acoustics problem. Sound reflecting off hard walls, glass and ceilings arrives late and blurs speech. Directivity control, delay zones and targeted acoustic treatment fix it; more volume makes it worse.
Can one system handle speech, live music and background music?+
Yes, when it is designed for it. Separate DSP presets for speech, music and events let the same loudspeakers behave correctly for each use, with the right preset recalled by staff in a single tap.
How many zones does a commercial building need?+
One zone per area that needs independent volume or source — lobby, dining, terrace, meeting rooms, back of house — plus an all-call override for announcements.
Do you supply wireless microphone systems?+
Yes. We plan channel counts, antenna placement and frequency coordination so that multiple wireless microphones operate reliably in the same venue.
Can pro audio integrate with video conferencing?+
Yes. DSP with echo cancellation links room microphones and loudspeakers to conferencing platforms and displays, so hybrid meetings sound natural in both directions.
Do you service and maintain existing installations?+
Yes. We audit existing systems, re-tune them, replace failing components and put a preventive maintenance schedule in place, including installations we did not originally supply.
How long does an installation take?+
A meeting room or single-zone system is usually a few days. A full auditorium with rigging, cabling and commissioning is typically several weeks, and depends on site readiness and civil coordination.
How do we start a pro audio project with LiveInSmart?+
Share your venue type, approximate dimensions, seating capacity and how the space is used through our contact page. We follow up with a site survey and a coverage-based design proposal.
